Its in doubt when the worst decisions of ones life is made and its in lack of knowledge that mistakes are multiplied. I find myself troubled and perplexed - for once in my life - I am unable to make a decision because of lack of knowledge. Why do I say this - I am troubled because once in my life I find myself unable to name my purpose in life. I am a woman of favour, for the Lord has blessed me in indeed and I can say that I have tasted and know that the Lord is good and I am persuaded that my God is more than able and the plans He has for me ears have not heard or eyes conceived - so why Im I troubled? why do I keep repeating the same question to myself - How comes you still do not know your purpose? - I finally realised not only is it important to know who you are in Christ Jesus but to also know the walk for which He has called you for. His words says, that I am chosen, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and I belong to God so that I will declare His praise (1 Pet 2 vs 9) - But what does He say about my purpose ?
I had always prayed to be in His Will to walk the path He has set out for me - I had been basking in His favour, in His grace, in His abundance - In His Love - My life a living testimony of the goodness of the Lord - But still I had erected barriers to keep Him out.
Woe to me I exclaimed - I have not been listening to Him - His grace and love have been with me so that I can boldly declare His praise but my heart had been closed - on lock down - I had deafened Him out - I pray what I think He thinks I should be praying - I had been limiting God by fancying that I know what He can do - I had not opened my mind to expect unexpected things - to pray what He wants me to pray for - I had overcrowded my mind with my spiritualism instead of the simplicity that is in worshiping God - Infact I had missed Him FULL STOP - But because of HIS GRACE - because of His grace - I have been given another chance to hear again - Dear Lord I cry out - the walls are torn down - Speak to me Im listening - What is it you want me to do?
People come into your life for a reason - sometimes as a wake up call for things you have been doing wrong - Its time for a change - A good change I hope.
So then I ask - Name your purpose - God willing I will be able to soon.

Nice! What can I say that you haven't said already. I truly think it's important fr us t stop and ask why we've been created. Every invention on earth has a purpose...so do we. Shout out to Him and remain steadfast for in due season, He will reveal your purpose.

i feel what you're saying. many times i've asked...What should I be doing...what am I called to do...
sometimes i feel that what I may be called to do isnt necessarily what God has in mind...I dont know...i just get confused
my prayer is that the thoughts and voices of others be silent...that i may hear with clarity what God is saying...and see the path is has set out for me

This is one point I tend to deal with most times. I cried out to the Lord, I asked for my purpose. But I know His will will be manifested in my life as the time comes. Since I know I am "Fearfully and wonderfully made" , "a royal priesthood, a chosen generation". I believe all you need to do is just to keep doing His will, be diligent in manifesting His love and plan for you by being prayerful.
Every thing, every plan and all of His will for us shall follow!
@miguel - Amen - I pray so - cause certain decisions cannot be made until you are sure of your purpose and know how to align them to him that the Lored has brought for you - I just pray that I dont allow it to overwhelm me.
@diamond - what you hare called to do is what God has in mind for you to do - There is your primary and your secondary purpose. But your primary is your main purpose and the secondary is there to help the primary - and vice versa - Im even confusing myself.- Its enoug to get one confused, but it is well.
@belle -That is it - Vision - without vision you can see the things God has for you - its the ability to see what God has said - and see Him bring it to pass - Habakuk 2 vs 2 - talks about waiting for that vision to come into being and patience - wow girl you just hit the nail on the head - Great comment.

@Saph - isn't it a terrible feeling to be on a roolacoster - one day you think you know and other days you realise you havnt a clue - I feel like that all the time - This is some serious homework for us -
@NijaDude - everything to God in prayers and supplications - I know He speaks; I just have to be patient to Listen to what He has to say - not what I think he wants to say to me.
